By popular demand, Vers has created the ideal compact AM/FM sound system for iPod with the full, rich sound you've come to expect from Vers. The 1.5R is a true 'hybrid': great as a bedside alarm, even better in the kitchen, den or office... anywhere great sound belongs. Not only is the 1.5R handmade, but it's also sustainable.

The wood for each cabinet is from sustainable plantation sources – it's a fast growth eucalyptus which grows to maturity in 3-4 years. Vers uses screws vs. toxic glues, uses no formaldehyde in the wood bonding, and they've have eliminated all plastic except where necessary or required. And the adapter and Class D amplifier use up to 70% less energy than traditional speakers.

The 1.5R plays and charges iPod Video, iPod Nano, iPod mini, iPod, iPod classic, iPod Touch, iPhone and 3G iPhone.

The  1.5R includes 18 function remote, dock adapters (#9, #10, #13 & #14), external AM and FM antennas, 15V 1.6A Switching Power adaptor and user manual.
