These herds of cuddly Knitter Critters are handmade by a group of knitters in rural Kenya. They're part of a non-profit organization comprised of socially responsible businesses that provide a link between artisans and the marketplace.

The Kenana Knitters group enables its workers to directly benefit from their efforts to create a self-sufficient community. They're committed to respecting and sustaining the environment and promoting and practicing fair and open trade ethics.

Each piece comes with a tag signed by the artisan who knitted the little critter.
