The Kenana Knitters, a group of Kenyan women, is growing larger every day. They gather the wool themselves, wash it, dye it with all natural plant dyes, mothproof it with natural Pyrethrum Flowers and then spin it on old bicycle wheels.
Kenana Knitters was formed with the social aim of giving much needed income to local families, allowing the women to work. The group enables its workers to directly benefit from their efforts and create a self-sufficient community.
