Emma Jeffs is both a designer of pattern and a specialist of materials. She trained in textiles for fashion design but after a short stint in fashion, interiors became her passion, and the relationship between print, pattern and material fuels Emma's creative practice. She's continually expanding her interior products to create applications that both function and inspire.

2. WHAT'S THE ODDEST THING IN YOUR REFRIGERATOR? My partner is a chef so there is always something lurking that I have never seen before. At the moment
Grape Molasses and Dulce de Leche (milk Caramel spread). Neither I know what to do with, any suggestions?
3. WHAT'S A PRODUCT YOU WISH YOU'D THOUGHT UP? Wow how difficult is this… the correct answer I sometimes feel is "none" we should make everything ourselves! But I am continually inspired by so many designers and craftspeople so please don’t make me choose…although the light bulb is quite high up on the list.
4. USE THE WORD "BAFFLEGAB" IN A SENTENCE. Alrighty lovely, fancy a cup of cha and a bafflegab!
5. WHAT'S SOMETHING YOU AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE? Marmite (horrible English beefy spread that you put on toast) although loved by some. A plague of Marmite is the stuff of nightmares!
6. HAVE YOU EVER FELT COMPELLED TO BUY A BILLY MAYS PRODUCT? (YOU KNOW, OXICLEAN, HERCULES HOOKS...) Yes although I try to control the urges.
7. I'M SO SICK OF HEARING ABOUT The price of houses going up and going down…up and then down.
8. WHAT'S THE FUNNIEST NICKNAME YOU'VE GIVEN OR BEEN GIVEN? Funny to some but Jazzy Jeffs is something that seems to of stuck with my nearest and dearest.
9. IF YOU DIDN'T DO WHAT YOU DO, WHAT WOULD YOU DO? A ceramicist, although there is still time to dabble. Or a garden designer or house painter & decorator and a plumber.
