As "Global Surfers, Travelers, Marketers and Lifestyle Enthusiasts" Johnny and Mike, the founders of Maku Furnishings, have experienced some of the most incredible people and parts of the world - in particular the Southeastern Pan Asian communities within Indonesia and the kind and gentle people of Bali. Through these travels the concept of Maku was born.
They combine plantation-grown, sustainable raw materials and quality production resources along with the distinctly artesian work of the Indonesian people to create furnishings unlike anything available in today's marketplace - resulting in a challenge to the way business is looked at within the "cookie cutter" mass production lifestyle sector.
